Candle Care
Never leave a burning candle unattended
Always extinguish candle before leaving the room or going to sleep
Stop burning when 1/2” of wax remains
Do not burn near flammable materials
Always keep candles within sight
Burn candle long enough for the wax melt pool to reach the edges of the container during the first burn (typically 2–4 hours) to help prevent tunneling
Do not burn for more than 4 hours at a time
Use a candle snuffer when possible
Avoid blowing too hard to prevent wax splatter
Allow candle to cool completely before relighting
Keep away from drafts, fans, vents, curtains, pets, and children
Never move a candle while hot or while wax is melted
Container may become hot during use
Trim wick to 1/4” before each burn
Place candle on a heat-resistant surface
Keep wax free of debris, matches, and wick trimmings
Allow candle to reach room temperature before burning
Decorative wax toppings may shift, melt differently, or slightly change appearance during burning.
If dust or debris collects on the candle surface, gently wipe clean before lighting.
Natural wax frosting, texture changes, or color variations may occur and are normal due to the handmade nature of the candle.
Burn on a level, stable surface to help ensure even melting and reduce wax overflow.
Decorative wax elements may create uneven melting or overflow during the first burn, this may produce excess melted wax during use. Always monitor for possible wax overflow or dripping wax.
Clean up spilled wax only after it has completely cooled and hardened.
